If awarded relief, I will inform the business rates team of any change in circumstances affecting the amount of business rates payable.

In addition to periodic reviews of entitlement, applicants must notify the Council of any material changes likely to affect relief. Retrospective withdrawal of relief is possible (up to 24 months) if investigation reveals that relief has continued in circumstances outwith the Council's qualifying criteria.

Applicants should note that the small business bonus scheme for which they are applying is being granted as de minimus aid for state aid purposes. There is a ceiling of 200,000 euros (approximately 150,000) of de minimus aid, that can be granted over a rolling three year period and if you consider that you have already received in excess of, or close to this sum over the past three years, please provide details above.
